Services
Basic Hunting Dog Training
Our foundational program teaches essential hunting skills including bird exposure, pointing, steadiness to wing, shot and fall, and honoring other dogs. Dogs learn to handle to whistle and hunt cover while being introduced to gunfire in a controlled manner. Most dogs complete this program in three months, though training duration adjusts to individual learning paces.
Field Trialing Campaigns
We prepare dogs for competitive field trials through specialized conditioning and exposure to trial environments. Our program includes travel to major events across the country and has produced multiple champions including 2024 AKC National Gun Dog Champion FC Flying Princess Fiona. We work closely with owners throughout the competition process.
Gun Introduction Training
This specialized training acclimates dogs to gunfire through gradual exposure using .22 caliber rounds. We focus on building positive associations with gunfire while maintaining focus on hunting tasks. The process ensures dogs remain steady to wing and shot while developing proper hunting behavior around firearms.
Cover Hunting Instruction
Our cover hunting program teaches dogs to effectively navigate and hunt in natural environments. Dogs learn to maintain proper quartering patterns, handle dense cover, and locate birds in varied terrain. Training emphasizes steady movement through cover while maintaining responsiveness to handler commands and whistle signals.
