Questions
What vaccinations are required for boarding or daycare?
Dogs must be up-to-date on bordatella, distemper/parvo, and rabies vaccines. Proof must be provided by your vet. Flea prevention is also required year-round.
How does the temperament evaluation work?
Evaluations take 20-25 minutes during weekday mornings. Staff introduce dogs to group play and assess behavior. Required for all new clients to ensure safety and compatibility.
Can I bring my dog's personal items for boarding?
Yes, you may bring bedding labeled with your dog's name. Raw hides are prohibited due to safety risks. We provide cots but welcome personal blankets or toys.
What happens if my dog gets sick during their stay?
We contact you or your emergency contact immediately. If urgent care is needed and we can't reach you, pets are taken to their regular vet or Carolina Vet Specialists after hours.
Are there additional fees for holidays?
