Our full grooming service includes a comprehensive range of treatments to keep pets looking and feeling their best. Each session features a bath, blow dry, haircut with specialized trims, nail trimming and filing, ear cleaning, and dental spray application. We work carefully with each pet to ensure their comfort throughout the process, never rushing or overbooking appointments. This service is available both in our salon and through our mobile grooming vans.
Mobile Grooming
Our mobile grooming service brings professional pet care directly to your doorstep. Our self-contained, climate-controlled vans are equipped with all necessary tools and clean water supplies to provide high-quality grooming in a familiar environment for your pet. We service the Toledo metro area from Oregon to Swanton, requiring only an electrical outlet for operation. This convenient option reduces stress for pets and saves owners time.
Grooming Academy
Plontzie's Grooming Academy offers a comprehensive 640-hour diploma program for aspiring professional pet groomers. Authorized by the Ohio Board of Career Colleges and Schools, our curriculum covers all aspects of dog grooming from start to finish. Students receive hands-on training with individualized attention in small classes of no more than two students. The program includes essential skills like breed recognition, scissoring techniques, and customer service training.
Salon Services
Our full-service retail salon in Perrysburg provides a welcoming environment for pet grooming with personalized attention. Each groomer completes services start-to-finish without production line processing. We offer flexible scheduling with morning and afternoon drop-off options, and our retail area features pet essentials. The salon environment allows for more extended services and additional customer interaction compared to mobile appointments.
A La Carte Services
We offer customized grooming options through our la carte services for specific pet needs. These include anal gland expression, teeth brushing, nail trimming, paw pad shaving, ear cleaning, and de-skunking treatments. Our experienced groomers can provide these individual services separately from full grooming sessions, allowing owners to address specific hygiene concerns or maintain particular aspects of their pet's grooming between full sessions.
