Carl's Pet Care Center

Carl's Pet Care Center has provided compassionate pet boarding and care services since 2005, operating as an extension of the Canine Adoption and Rescue League, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our facility features 2,400 square feet of indoor space, 60 outdoor runs, 50 exercise yards, and bathing facilities designed to ensure pets' comfort and safety. With trained staff available 24/7 and a caretaker residing on-site, we maintain rigorous safety standards through animal first aid and CPR-certified personnel. All proceeds from our public boarding services directly support our rescue mission, which has placed thousands of dogs in permanent homes since 1996. Our Burnice Kraemer Sanctuary provides a dedicated space for adoptable dogs awaiting permanent placement.

Located centrally in Ventura County, we serve pet owners seeking reliable care while contributing to animal welfare initiatives. Our operations are governed by a board of directors committed to maintaining high standards of animal care and community service. Through education and outreach programs, we advocate for responsible pet ownership and animal welfare. Our facility's design prioritizes both pet comfort and operational efficiency, featuring concrete-floored runs and brick structures for durability. We maintain transparent operations through regular updates on our rescue impact and facility improvements.
