Home Farm Kennels, the County's oldest and largest pet boarding establishment, has provided quality pet care to Northern Maine since 1976. In 2009, the kennel was purchased by the Ridenour family. They brought with them nearly a decade of prior experience in pet care and kennel management, which included ownership of a large boarding facility in Virginia.
Kelly and the girls are PCSA-certified Pet Care Technicians, and between us, our family has nearly 60 years experience in professional pet care and kennel management. For us, caring for pets is more than just a job or sideline-it is our life! Kelly, a former nurse's aide, personally oversees the care of all our guests, including feeding and administering medications, and she is our head groomer as well, with nearly 20 years' experience.

Multi-Pet discounts are available for 2 or more pets boarded from the same family.
There is no charge for the date of departure if the pet is picked up by 12:00 pm on Monday - Saturday or by 9:00 am on Sundays.
Please Note: Grooming prices are estimates only and may be adjusted to reflect extra time involved due to temperament and/or condition of coat.
If we feel we may need to adjust the price, we will consult you first before proceeding.
Everyone needs a place to hang their collar, even if it's just for a little while!
