With over 55 years of combined experience grooming professionally, training in obedience, tracking & agility, showing in conformation, caring for rescue dogs & working for veterinarians, Jenny & Libby will care for your pets with knowledge as well as love! We are truly pet professionals! Our brand new facility boasts modern indoor/outdoor kennels for dogs over 25# and new roomy cages for the little guys (under 25#) which are large, safe and secure.
The facility is entirely fenced for your dog's safety. All canine boarding Guests are let outside every two hours to potty and/or play & run off-leash in over a half acre fenced exercise yard.

Part of our mission is to make sure that each dog and cat that stays and plays with us is happy to walk in our door - and leaves with a big, silly smile after having had a great time.
Jenny moved to the Gallup area with her husband and son in 1998 for the wide open space and has never looked back.
Here, she continued to build on her vast experience caring for animals by working for Dr. Ken Podkonjak at Red Rock Animal Hospital for seven years as groomer, receptionist, and then office manager until he sold the practice in 2005.
We truly love what we do!

We can't let the dogs have all the fun!
At Laughing Dog Kennel, we also want our feline friends to have a place to come and play - so we created a room just for them!
They are kept in a separate room away from the dogs in spacious kitty condos where they can sleep, stretch, roam, and play without any stress.
Your cat's comfort, safety, health, and happiness are our top priorities.
Our kitty area is in a room separate from our dog-boarding area so that each of our kitty guests can relax and enjoy their stay with us.

Jenny, Libby, Munchkin and Amber have over 60 years combined grooming experience & will make your dog look absolutely furrific while ensuring that they stay calm and comfortable during their spa service.
We go slow & gentle with puppies so they learn to tolerate the experience of being bathed, clipped, trimmed, scissored and fluffed!
As such, in addition to our boarding and daycare services, we also offer a wide array of grooming services for dogs.

We refer to Dan Lewis who has 40 years of training dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages & temperaments.
Dan does training visits in your own home and these can be scheduled directly with Dan by calling 505-783-2497.
Dan can help with anything from teaching your wild puppy manners & basic obedience to your adult dog's aggression issues.
He uses positive reinforcement methods, rewarding good behavior and redirecting behavior you do not want & he guarantees his results.
