You'll get plenty of individual attention in our small group classes in Kalamazoo and South Haven. Busy puppy parents love our innovative drop-off training program. Our experienced instructors absolutely love training and teaching.
We are proud of our team's diverse knowledge base, which includes puppy socialization and development, good manners, play behavior, aggression and reactivity, tricks, agility, disc, nose work, conformation, and competitive obedience.
Our team includes two Certified Professional Dog Trainers, and collectively we have over six decades of experience helping clients and their dogs reach their goals.
We train using easy to understand methods based on up-to-date science about how dogs learn.

Holly O'Brien has 11 years of experience working with clients and their dogs.
Holly believes everyone has their idea of the "perfect dog, " and she loves helping clients to get their perfect dog with her gentle and effective training methods.
She is particularly interested in working with dogs with reactivity and other behavior issues, and is the lead instructor for our Reactive Rover class.
As a CDBC, Holly specializes in the prevention, management, and modification of challenging behaviors in dogs.

If you are tired of getting dragged down the street on walks and having to yell "no jump!" every time your dog meets a new person, we can help with classes for every skill level, including Canine Good Citizen preparation.
Dogs who love to run, jump, and sniff can have fun and burn off energy at our dog sports classes.

Puppy Manners Classes

Jump start your pup's training with our free puppy handouts and check out our tips for socialization during this challenging time.
This is a beginner level class for puppies up to six months old and up to 40 pounds (toy breed puppies under one year old also are welcome in this class).
Enjoy having a puppy who listens to you, sits instead of jumping, and who is confident around new people, sights, and sounds.
Get a handle on puppy mouthing and housetraining, and set the foundation for a pup that walks nicely on leash and comes when called.
Adult Manners Classes

Whether you have a new dog who is learning the basics, or need a refresher for your best pal, we have classes for all skill levels.
For beginner dogs six months old and up who have little to no prior training.
This introductory good manners class covers attention and focus, sit and down, sit for petting, and an introduction to stay, loose leash walking, and coming when called.
This is a perfect starting point for teams working towards the SPOT (Socialized Pet Obedience Test) or CGC (Canine Good Citizen test).
