Business Details
We founded Just Like Home Dog Boarding in 1998 after a passion for caring for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Over the past 25 years, we have expanded from puppy watching to a fullservice boarding and daycare operation. As a Professional Member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, we adhere to the highest industry standards. Our homebased facility spans 1,000 square feet, featuring a fully finished walkout basement, a family room, and three fenced yard areas. Dogs are never confined to kennels; instead, they roam freely in our secure, AKCbrand fencing that is dogcoat friendly. We provide individualized feeding routines, encouraging owners to bring their own food and treatment instructions.
Our staff conducts thorough interviews to ensure each dog is comfortable and safe in our environment. We only accept dogs under 50 pounds, neutered or spayed, fully vaccinated, and fleafree. The facility is inspected annually for compliance and is covered by comprehensive liability insurance. Our commitment to client satisfaction is reflected in our personalized attention and transparent communication. We invite pet owners in Oregon City and the greater southeast Portland area to experience a caring, homelike boarding experience.

Dog Boarding
Our dog boarding offers overnight stays in a spacious, homelike environment where each small dog enjoys unrestricted play in multiple fenced yards. The service is tailored for dogs under 50 pounds, neutered or spayed, and fully vaccinated, ensuring safety and comfort. Guests receive individualized feeding schedules and fulltime supervision from our experienced staff.
Doggy Daycare
Our doggy daycare provides daytime supervision for small breeds in a safe, interactive setting. Dogs roam freely among three fenced yards while our staff facilitates play, socialization, and rest periods. The program supports confidence building and gentle introductions for shy or new dogs.
Puppy Watching
We started with puppy watching, offering owners a trusted place to leave newborns during vacations. Puppies receive the same attention as adult dogs, with consistent feeding and gentle handling in a safe home environment. This service is ideal for breeders and firsttime puppy owners needing reliable care.
