Laura Teichmann, owner and manager of Willow Creek Kennels, is Amarillo born and raised. At a young age Laura knew she wanted to do something with animals. With the help of her father John Beard, Laura worked hard in training as she grew up, and even finished her first AKC title on a beloved collie named "Good Golly Ms. Mollie" at the young age of thirteen.
She even graduated from Tascosa High School. In 1994 John and Starla Beard with Laura their daughter as manager purchased Willow Creek Kennels. Laura was always active in making sure the kennels. Our new facility offers all indoor/outdoor runs, heated floors, wide air conditioned wings, and large outdoor play yards for dogs. Our feline room has individual suites and play time can be provided.

Proof of vaccinations including rabies, distemper/parvo complex and Bordetella, and feline requirements are rabies, feline distemper, and feline leukemia.

We serve Iams pet food, if your furry friend is on a specialized diet, please bring their food separate in Ziploc bags per day, and feeding.
We provide stainless steel bowls, and water buckets to feed and water your pets that are washed after every feeding.
We ask that you please leave your food bowls, and water buckets at home.
We know it can get a little boring not being at home, so we do allow you to bring a few toys and treats for your pet, limiting it to no more than four toys.

Willow Creek Kennels offers a two week Board and Train program, where we get to the root of basic training, and make sure your pet knows what they are supposed to be doing, furthering the lifelong bond you have with your dog.
