Located in Salem, Iowa, I work with each pet parent to find the best fit for their fur baby. I opened Dana's Dogs LLC to provide a personalized dog boarding or dog sitting experience to your furbabies and pet parents. While we're proud of our fun and easy-going attitude, our commitment to the safety, and the well being of your pet guides everything we do.
Dog boarding, $35 per night. Boarders will be treated as one of our family, getting comfortable bedding and blankets, cuddles, and plenty of playtimes. Parents will receive pictures of your pet during their stay and a pet report at pick up. Drop off and pick up times are flexible. With our pet sitting option, I stop in your house and take care of your pet in their own environment.
I charge $15 per dog per day for 1-4 visits within 10 miles of Salem, Iowa. Daycare is when your dog socializes with other dogs, relaxes on our couches, and spends the days with us. Your dog is able to benefit from enrichment-type daycare where we work on our manners, might do puzzle toys and benefits from one-on-one time.

We went with the home care option since we have an outside kennel for our 2 dogs to be in and figured they would be more comfortable at home.
Dana came to the house every morning, took them for a walk, played with them and fed them.
She would then return every evening, do the same and return them to the inside of the house.
She followed our instructions on their care perfectly.
We also got daily updates with pictures which is nice to know they they were having just as much fun as we were.

Clients must supply copies of vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian in addition to a signed Client Agreement and a Boarding Intake or Drop-in Visit Intake form depending on the service requesting prior to the dog's stay.

I started watching dogs doing drop-in visits for many years; however, I officially formed Dana's Dogs LLC in 2019.
I also gained my Iowa Dog Boarding and Daycare license in early 2020, expanding my business with a licensed, in-home boarding option.
